Hello—I’m Brendan, I'm a freelance journalist based in New York City and the author of Blood Red Lines: How Nativism Fuels the Right. I’m also a PhD student in Geography at the City University of New York.
I have written frequently for publications like The Baffler, The Nation, and VICE. I’ve also written for The Guardian, The New Yorker, and The New York Times. Between freelancing stints, I was a reporter on Gizmodo Media's digital investigations team, the Special Projects Desk; before that, I was at Gawker.
If you’d like to get in touch, you can contact me by email. I'm also on Signal; cellphone number provided upon request. For literary inquiries, I’m represented by Katie Cacouris at The Wylie Agency.
